Of the situation, legal expert Michael Bononi tells MTV News, "What he's gonna have to show in making these allegations is that he was subjected to a hostile work environment, and it's gonna have to be hostile in two ways: one, that a reasonable person similarly situated would have been offended by the conduct and secondly that he was actually offended by the conduct." Bononi adds, "What courts and what juries look [for] is: Did he act consistently with the way you would expect someone to act who was actually offended by this type of conduct? Britney Spears responds to former bodyguard Fernando Flores apos s lawsuit

Britney Spears sued. (Matt Sayles - AP) A statement has been posted on Britney Spears's Web site responding to the lawsuit filed against the pop star by former bodyguard Fernando Flores. "This lawsuit is another unfortunate situation where someone is trying to take advantage of the Spears family and make a name for himself," the statement reads. The statement goes on to say that Flores's allegations have been investigated by the Department of Children and Family Services and the case was closed, a claim that Spears's ex-husband, Kevin Federline, made earlier. Flores sued Spears on Wednesday claiming sexual harassment and intentional infliction of emotional distress. He accused the pop star of hitting her children with his belt and exposing herself to him.
