Britney Spears continued her bikini lounging in Hawaii over the weekend, and yesterday she picked a teal two-piece to chill in a cabana with her shirtless boyfriend, Jason Trawick. She and Jason have been on vacation since last week and have spent their time in the tropics soaking up the sun and enjoying hot PDA at the beach. Britney's trip kept her far from all the action last night at the Emmys in LA, where her buddies from Glee helped host Jimmy Fallon kick things off in his opening number. Jane Lynch took home a statue at the show, as did series creator Ryan Murphy, while actress Jessalyn Gilsig shared a little about Brit's recent visit to their set. There's controversial characters and then there's Terri Schuester. The pregnancy faking, baby swiping, drug pushing, Sheets & Things slacker left fans so cold during "Glee's" first 13-episodes that actress Jessalyn Gilsig still has frostbite! And while Terri hasn't visited The Wizard and gotten a heart -- or a brain -- during the show's hiatus, Jessalyn does promise that her character is evolving in the back nine episodes (starting tonight). Yes, Terri is coming back, so quit your petitioning, haters. Not only does Will's estranged wife refuse to give up her man, Jessalyn thinks fans have it backwards as to who was really the bad one in their relationship! PopWrap: You filmed the first 13 episodes before any aired -- were you surprised by fans strong reaction to Terri? Jessalyn Gilsig: I really was, so I benefitted the most from working in that vacuum because we couldnât be influenced by fan reaction, which I wasn't expecting at all. As an actor, it was my job to make sense of her actions, so Terri makes sense to me. I didnât think it was particularly attractive, but I knew why she was doing it. PW: What was her motivation? Jessalyn: Ryan [Murphy, creator] said to me, âPoor Terri, sheâs always right.â What he meant is, sheâs right, she was losing Will. Letâs be real here, Will was flirting with Emma. He was inviting her to wash the blackboard. He would have taken it to the next step -- Emma was the one putting the breaks on. So I understood her motivation, but oh boy, were people mad at me. Like, really mad at me [laughs]. PW: Did that lead to any odd fan encounters? Jessalyn: The other day this woman walked up to me â she mustâve been in her 60s -- walked right up to me and says, âYou know what I donât understand? How can you be so stupid?â Itâs like, âAre we talking about âGleeââ? [laughs] I felt really vindicated by Balloon Boy! It make people realize there are people like this that really exist. Have you read the news? People are crazy! PW: Did you want to make Team Terri T-shirts or something? Jessalyn: I thought about it. Like, just because Emma has a bob doesnât mean sheâs a good person. But if you donât have conflict youâre be making a Disney show and weâre not! This is a show about high school and there are all kind of elements that stand in the way of what you want. I know that I'm the one providing that. PW: The break between episode 13 and 14 gave the writers time to assess fan reaction -- any late night calls to Ryan asking, "So, Terri's coming back right?" Jessalyn: [laughs] Well, I didnât necessarily have that conversation, but I certainly tried to hear what was going on. Iâm not in the back nine as much â my storyline picks up tonight and then I drop out for a while. My storyline really gets started closer to the end of the season. But I need to stay around and make things a little difficult for Will & Emma. As much as people wanted me to go away, I was determined to stay! PW: And if Ryan eventually decides to write you off, he has to figure out a better send-off than the one he gave your character on "Nip/Tuck!" [watch Gina's shocking death here] Jessalyn: [laughs] I told him, I am not dying on this show. I refuse to die! But I also donât want what happened to me on "Boston Public" to happen here â where I was transferred to the administration department. That would be worse. So those are the two ways I refuse to go. PW: That's a pretty hard act to follow! Jessalyn: Any other death scene I do will pale in comparison to that. I remember reading it â there are very few times in your life when the jaw literally drops. But I still remember that feeling of âI canât believe what Iâm reading.â PW: Aside from the baby lie, Terri doesn't seem like the sharpest crayon in the box -- where would you place her intelligence? Jessalyn: Sheâs exactly where you think. [laughs] The way I see it, Terriâs still a teenager. I think sheâs younger than a lot of the characters who play the teenagers. She kind of still has that high school mentality. Like, youâd be at a party, a guy lends you his sweater, you wear the sweater home and think, "Weâre probably going to fall in love because he needs to get his sweater back.â Thatâs Terri â itâs the high school mind. I think that unfortunately for Terri, she never evolved past that moment. PW: So does she have a plan to get Will back? Jessalyn: If she does, itâs not very sophisticated. Look as hot as possible? We had a couple if scenes where I said, âShe just needs to get the boobs upâ because I think Terri's that simple. But you will see when she comes back that Terri does grow a little -- she'll come to realize the role she played in the breakdown of their relationship. She has a chance to forge new friendships and she tries to do better. She definitely tries to grow. I hope she can -- I know she gives it a shot. PW: She grows and later this season, she also sings! Jessalyn: Oh god. I was so excited. This job is ridiculous. "Glee" is why you become an actor. So when somebody says, âYouâre going to be singing and dancing next week,â you think â what did I do right? I felt like a kid again. I was so excited and itâs so much fun to shoot. It was awesome. Working on "Glee" is as much fun as it appears to be. PW: Can you tell us anything about the performance? Jessalyn: I can because if I told you when it happens, it would give away so much. Iâll put it this way, it doesnât happen at the school. And the song is not an up-tempo pop song. PW: I don't know if you're aware, but there's a fan campaign to get Terri's sister Kendra a song too! Jessalyn: I heard a rumor about this, that someone is campaigning on Twitter. Itâs awesome â Jennifer [Aspen, who plays Kendra] can sing, they should give her a song! PW: Maybe a sisterly duet? Jessalyn: How great would that be! Weâd be like The Sweeney Sisters from Saturday Night Live, those lounge singers. I would love that! All I want to do is be that singer whoâs like, âThanks for coming out tonight.â PW: I know you guys just got the season finale scripts -- what can you tell us? Cliffhangers? Jessalyn: In my case itâs cliffhanger, which Iâm excited about. Itâs different from what we did in [December] by tying a lot of things up. I think this time, we only had 9 episodes so we leave a lot of questions unanswered. "Glee" returns at 9:28 p.m. tonight on Fox and airs every Tuesday at 9 p.m.

TV Land will be honoring some of the greats of television, some from the golden age of TV, some from just a few years back, and even the greats of tomorrow? How's that? Well, look at the line up: Mel Brooks and Carl Reiner, the creators of 'The 2000 Year Old Man' among other comic gems, the cast of 'Everybody Loves Raymond,' a salute to Farrah Fawcett by the other 'Charlie's Angel' stars, and with a wink toward the future, a celebration of 'Glee.' More Glee leads to more worries

Yesterday I just about gleeked in my pants after "Entertainment Tonight" debuted the first footage from the second half of "Glee's" first season. But now that I've had time to marinate on it -- and a subsequent commercial that aired during "American Idol" last night -- I'm having some concerns. Namely, three. 1. Terri As much as I love Jessalyn Gilsig (and that's a lot, thanks to her role as Gina on "Nip/Tuck"), I am so over this character. But I guess if keeping her around also means Terri's sister Kendra also returns, I can make peace with it. 2. Sexual singing Will and Emma have voiced their feelings through song outside of glee club before, but the mere thought of him singing a song as they're about to copulate has me gagging. And if said song is "Let's Get It On" I might break up with "Glee." 3. Rachel can be crazy, but not certifiable Rachel Berry is far and away my favorite character, but the writers walk a fine line between adorably neurotic and flat-out batsh**. The sight of her in a Team Finn tee, waving like a madwoman as he takes to the basketball court has me worried Rachel's veering too far in the wrong direction. But I'm sure within the context of the show, each of these moments will mesh perfectly. After all, I'm sure more than a few of us were dubious when we heard "deaf choir." And look how that turned out ... I'm still crying.
SAG Winners Bring Their Smiles Statues to the Press Room

The big winners at Saturday's SAG Awards headed into the press room after picking up their statues. Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey were both recognized for their work in 30 Rock, while Christina Hendricks and the cast of Mad Men spoke to the press without Jon Hamm, who was onstage presenting. Diane Kruger and her Inglourious Basterds boys were so excited after their win for Best Ensemble Cast, telling us they texted Brad Pitt to share the good news. Drew Barrymore was likewise thrilled with her latest honor, after picking up a Golden Globe the week before for Grey Gardens. Jane Lynch lead the cast of Glee, as her costars Dianna Argon, Cory Monteith, Matthew Morrison, and Jessalyn Gilsig clutched their Actor statues. Crazy Heart's Jeff Bridges sweetly brought his wife onto the press room podium to have her answer questions beside him, crediting her with his success and the raising of their three daughters. Mo'Nique was also thankful to her husband in her remarks following her win for Precious, saying that they get their emotions out during special "bathroom talks." Kevin Bacon had nothing but glowing words for his own wife, Kyra Sedgwick, after a visibly emotional acceptance speech onstage. Sandra Bullock stuck with the theme after already thanking her "hot" husband Jesse James, admitting she'd rather attend events for his work any day over awards shows.
